Chime's products consist of tools used for webcasting and live interaction via the web. In the course of the past decade they have evolved from single-use solutions to a more general tool easy to plug into any Web site. ChimeArtistToolkit (aka CAT) is full-featured backend publishing system. It allows updating of many types of information (tour schedules, news, photo galleries, favorite playlists, etc) and is the latest development in technology that originated back 1994. The most recent developments includes an extensive template system to allow designers to format the content in any way they desire, plus a Flash API for easy integration of content into dynamic Flash applications. Managers and labels can also use it to easily handle updating information for all of their artists. It is currently used by over 75 artists, including: Joe Satriani, Guster, Ben Kweller, Howie Day, Evan Dando, Stephen Kellogg, Rich Price, and Spoon. Simplechat is a basic web-browser (ie, no plugins) moderated chat system. It has been used for chats from artists like Bad Religion and companies such as Autodesk and Viewstream. FlashChat is a flash interface to a real-time chat server. This is a new product and is currently in beta-test on www.satriani.com, where it is integrated with a fan membership database backend. LWPG (Living Web Photo Gallery) is a CGI-based dynamic photo gallery system. This system has undergone continual updates ever since its inception in 1995 and has been used for artist web sites such as Joe Satriani, Guster, Train, Geggy Tah, Black Lab, Duncan Sheik, Lisa Loeb, Live and more.
